This will help in reducing workload of agents’ and company’s costs. This is so because calls that can be easily resolved won’t require human attention. The AI will only forward the issue in case of complex queries.

Due to dealing with humongous amount of data, AI can track visible patterns in it and draw conclusions. It can map escalation path for customers enquiries too. It can also help in making minute day-to-day decisions. By utilizing the weather data, it can suggest a teleconference instead of a meeting, if required. It can also plan out by showing up as a hologram in any other company locations to deliver any important message or updates.

AI can be programmed to assist leaders during crisis communication, thus preventing any situation that could be caused by heated responses. It can also be inbuilt to comply with the organizations’ guidelines and thus, work accordingly.

The main idea of introducing AI in any field is not to replace us, but improve our level of productivity. Recently a new concept has sprung up in Ray Kurzweil’s mind. He is Google’s Director of Engineering. According to him, nanobots, which are essentially tiny machines that execute specific functions would enter our bloodstream, navigate the modules of our own organic brain and connect our human brain to the artificial one. We wouldn’t need a web browser nor a mobile phone to find online information. We would be able to think our way to the cloud and retrieve any information we want. If this comes to light, then the search engine paradigm would change completely. We would then be literally using our brains to find anything.
